Sonoma County workers keep the county running.

But short staffing is jeopardizing critical public services and endangering residents.

From public works to human services, Sonoma County employees work hard every day to keep our county running smoothly.

From filling potholes to protecting at-risk children, county workers are the backbone of Sonoma County.

But Sonoma County is experiencing unprecedented staffing shortages due to severely low wages. After the strain of multiple fires, floods, and this pandemic, employees are leaving the County at alarming rates to find more sustainable employment elsewhere. Our services are failing, and it's our most vulnerable who are at the greatest risk during this crisis. Our community deserves better than this.

It’s time for Sonoma County to staff up!

Send an email to the Sonoma County
Board of Supervisors here.

Tell them the County can and MUST do better to address its staffing crisis so residents can get the services they need and deserve.
